Multifamily signage works best as a coordinated system

An apartment property may need a monument face, leasing-office logo, building numbers, unit plaques, parking signs, amenity identification and directional signs. Treating each item as a separate design often creates inconsistent wording and unnecessary installation problems.

We manufacture non-electrical sign components from an approved sign schedule. Repeated sizes, numbering and color standards can improve production consistency and make future replacements easier.

Accessibility, fire-code, parking, traffic-control and regulatory signs require project-specific verification. They are not represented as compliant unless the exact standard and construction are included in the approved scope.

Start with a sign schedule

A useful schedule lists every sign ID, exact message, quantity, finished size, material, color, mounting location and any special requirement. Building and unit numbering should be checked against property records before production begins.

For directional signs, include a marked site plan. A list of arrows without the orientation and location can lead to signs that point the wrong way after installation.

Plan for future replacements

Properties change names, unit use and traffic patterns. Consistent fonts, colors, panel sizes and mounting hole locations make later replacement easier. Retain the final approved schedule and artwork after the first order.

Building numbers need contrast and visibility

Number size should reflect the viewing distance and approach. A highly decorative font may be unsuitable when emergency responders, delivery drivers and visitors need to identify a building quickly.

Information needed for a package quote

  • Property name and approved logo
  • Complete sign schedule in spreadsheet or PDF form
  • Exact building, unit and amenity wording
  • Finished sizes and quantities
  • Indoor or outdoor use for each item
  • Mounting notes and location photographs
  • Delivery phasing, deadline and shipping ZIP

Large packages can be grouped by building or installation phase when that requirement is identified before packaging.
